This charming Afternoon Tea, is a special fundraising and educational event benefiting the Oroville Historical Preservation Council.
Delight in a refined tea service while enjoying an engaging presentation by our distinguished guest speaker, Jon Haeber, Director of the California Preservation Foundation. Mr. Haeber will talk about the importance of preservation and about tax incentives for preservationists.
Discover the fascinating story behind the Inn’s original 1930s period lighting sconces and gain insight into the ongoing efforts to restore and protect this beloved landmark. Guests will also have the unique opportunity to sponsor a sconce, a fun and meaningful way to contribute directly to the preservation of the Oroville Inn.

Using dried flowers and greenery, you’ll create a unique display in a teacup, sugar bowl, or creamer—perfect for adding a touch of vintage charm to your home or gifting to someone special.
